Apple iPhone. My first Impressions of 2007 hottest gadget: Sometimes, a certain product appears that just gets my juices flowing. One of those things that I simply can’t walk past in the shop without nipping in to have another fiddle. This time round, it’s the Apple iPhone. So you can imagine the fun I’ve had since the iPhone and I have become personally acquainted.
Logitech G9. Could this mouse scare the cat away? Firstly, a bit of background is needed I think. I had a G7 wireless mouse, one of the nice carbon fibre effect ones, and as uncertain as I was about wireless in a gaming mouse I went with a few recommendations, and against my better judgement I may add and bought one.
Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Ice Ice Baby? Not exactly a review this one, more a bit of a helping hand for those of you with cooling issues.
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850. Salt with those chips? It seems Bob Dylan was right when he sang about how the times they were all a’changing. And in no other market is this more evident than in the gamer’s pc market. It seems since the release of the Crysis demo from EA, a lot of gamers out there have been shocked at CPU (Central Processing Unit or simply processor) performance.
HPw2408. LCD Anyone? The choices in a new monitors these days are many, with LCD leading the way, the marketplace is flooded with screens that look mouth watering, yet fail to deliver that high end resolution that gamers demand.
Samsung Syncmaster 245b. Master or Monster? I love playing games. A lot. Don’t believe me?? Ask my long suffering girlfriend! I’m also pretty tight when it comes to buying new stuff and I carefully scan every review that’s available for the product on the net.
Logitech Z10 Stereo Speakers. Look and do touch. I seem to have this strange affection for speakers. I don’t know why I do, but I seem to be collecting them lately. I currently have nine (yep I said 9) speakers residing on my desk, and two subs that sit at my feet. I mean there are fewer speakers at a rock concert. And I’m afraid if I don’t seek treatment soon I shall need a larger desk. Frontlines: Fuel of War Review An objective review of KAOS Studios first release. The Makers of the Desert Combat Mod hope to have another hit on their hands.
